The PIC16Cxxx family (1)

• All microcontrollers of the PIC16Cxxx family have the same core (CPU+ALU)

• They sport a Harvard architecture: two different memories and buses, one for the code and one for the data

• The two memories have different word sizes: 14 bit for the code memory, 8 bit for the data memory
